Jan/June, 2003 - a collection of sights from the first half of 2003

 

The Nifty Fifties Club, held monthly at the Washington Arts Centre, invited us to demonstrate and talk about our honey. It was a peculiar affair, mostly because Tony wore a suit and tie (REALLY!!!) and yet Muffin "forgot" to take any pictures of him. The crowd seemed to enjoy themselves and the tastes.. and were generous with their purchases. Since we regularly attend the craft fairs held at the Arts centre, many of the nifties have become repeat customers and, luckily, seem not to connect the normal Gruff (shorts and silly hat) with the smartly dressed person who gave the talk.

Maybe, one day, they'll have us back.
